Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information SamTech Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, how we use it, and what choices and rights you may have when you use the Domain Monitor mobile app, related websites, and supporting services (together, the “Services”).

1. Information we collect

We do not collect passwords, full payment card details, or precise location data. Payment processing is handled by the relevant app store and supporting subscription providers. We receive subscription and entitlement information needed to manage access to paid features.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the Services, including running checks, storing recent monitoring history, syncing account-backed data, and showing results in the App.
  • To send push notifications and subscription-related service messages.
  • To authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent unauthorized access or abuse.
  • To determine plan limits, trial eligibility, and paid feature access.
  • To respond to support requests, bug reports, and operational issues.
  • To maintain, troubleshoot, improve, and protect the reliability of the Services.

Where applicable, we process personal data to perform our contract with you in providing the Services, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Services.

3. Third-party services

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication and push notification delivery. Firebase Privacy →

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-bot protection on our sign-in flow. Turnstile may process IP address and browser/device signals to distinguish humans from bots. Cloudflare Privacy →
  • Google Play / Apple App Store — payment processing and subscription platform services.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Services.

4. Data retention

  • Account data is retained while your account remains active, unless we need to keep certain records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.
  • Monitoring history is retained as a rolling recent history and is currently capped at up to 300 check results per target.
  • Push notification tokens are removed when you sign out. Tokens for inactive or unreachable devices may also be removed automatically over time.
  • Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain support history, and protect the Services.
  • Server and security logs are generally retained for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is needed for investigation, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

5. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. For users in the EU/EEA or other regions with similar laws, this may include rights available under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR.

You can request account deletion and deletion of associated data directly through the App. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

6. International data processing

Your information may be processed by our service providers in countries other than your own, depending on where those providers operate their infrastructure. When we use third-party providers, data may be transferred internationally as needed to provide the Services.

7. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law to consent to digital services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including HTTPS for data in transit, authentication controls, and access restrictions on backend systems. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and update the effective date above. If we make material changes, we may also notify you through the Services or by email.
